TWO arson attacks recently targeted the boundary hedges at York's Scarcroft Allotments.
Both these breaches of site security have been advised to the council's allotments officer.
The police were also told that serious attempts are being made to interfere with the seven-bar metal gates on the allotments site.
In addition, attempts are being made to damage greenhouses using airguns, several have recently been seen in use on the allotments and on the green, especially in the last two weeks when thugs shot at wild birds and were spotted by nearby residents.
