I HEREBY throw down the gauntlet for all brain-boxes out there to try to take the 'Quiz Knight' crown.
The Knights' fundraising committee, led by Phil Seymour, has organised a general knowledge quiz for Thursday, June 26, at Huntington Stadium, starting at 7.30pm.
And up for grabs - along with the as yet unnamed prizes - is the title of 'Quiz Knight Champions' won at the previous quiz by the Evening Press Sportsdesk team of clever dicks.
It costs only £1 per person, with a maximum of four people per team. The questions will be general knowledge so the challenge goes out not only to Knights supporters but also to pub quiz fans everywhere. All are welcome.
