SO First bus drivers in York are asking for pay of £8 an hour.
I support them. I am a regular bus passenger and value the patience of the drivers.
They not only have to put up with regular traffic congestion but unruly children and all sorts of debris thrown at bus windows. I have seen this for myself.
These drivers are also responsible for the safety of the passengers.
They are worth £8 an hour. So come on First bosses, give the drivers the pay they deserve.
