I AGREE with Dr Duncan Campbell, (Letters, July 19), about cars using the Park and Ride to keep York streets clear of vehicles.
Racegoers will have experienced the disgusting odours polluting the Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride site.
The nearby sewerage works produce the most obnoxious smell.
To wait for a bus or to walk across the car park is not the best way for tourists, or locals to start or end their day.
