A FULL house of 40 youngsters turned up to the first York City Knights Summer Roadshow of training sessions for kids.
The session, run in partnership between the Knights and City of York Council and taken by Knights star Trevor Krause and RL development officer Neil Gulliver, was held at Huntington Stadium on Thursday.
"Some are playing for club, some play for schools and about a dozen of them hadn't played at all," said Krause of the youngsters, aged between eight and 12.
"There are different abilities but they're all willing to give it a go and enjoy it, which is good."
There are a few places remaining on the three following Roadshow training sessions, which will be held on the next three Thursdays, 10am-3pm, at York Acorn, New Earswick All Blacks and Heworth ARLC respectively. For details or to book a place, call the Knights office on 01904 656105.
