YORK & District Against Motor Neurone Disease is grateful to Tesco, Askham Bar for allowing us to collect there on August 8 and 9.
The generosity of their customers enabled us to raise £672.75 which will be used to help patients living in the York area suffering from this dreadful disease. Similar collections have been held at Asda, Sainsburys and Clifton Moor in the past few months and their assistance is also much appreciated.
Lee Bellion, captain of Malton and Norton Golf Club raised £563 for us on his Captain's Day. Well done! Without the co-operation of local businesses, and other organisations in the community, fundraising would be much more difficult and we thank all concerned for helping us.
