FULFORDGATE'S Keith Pepper passed the 1,000-run mark for the season in the big division two clash of the day against Tollerton Outlaws.
With his brother Mal scoring 55no, Fulfordgate reached 145-6, but it was not enough to stop the champions from winning by three wickets.
Tollerton's reply was in disarray at 48-6 before a lower order batting master-class took the champions to victory.
Copmanthorpe's John Hughes hit 67 in his side's 167-9 against Thixendale. Graham Lyndsey then followed his 4-48 by scoring 48 runs in 'Dale's 100 all out.
Form team Wheldrake cruised to a five-wicket win at Kelfield, where Carl Van Neikirk removed the main batsmen to restrict the hosts to 119-8. Fourteen balls remained as Dave Kimberly (37) led Wheldrake to victory.
Phil Alford produced 115 for Hirst United out of a team total of 217-6 against Ben Johnson. Only Neil Drew could manage a reply with 53 as the printing side were all out for 125.
The final division five game saw a Liam Ellicker-inspired Copmanthorpe defeat Wheldrake. His 7-16 allowed Geoff Deighton (33no) time to knock off the 77 runs needed for victory.
In the Conference, a superb bowling display for Thorpe Willoughby by Neil Copsey was not quite enough to depose Tadcaster. His 7-47 (including a hat-trick) kept rampant Tadcaster to 180-7. Tad had their own hero in the shape of Russell Madin, who followed his 40 runs with 4-26 to deny Thorpe Willoughby just six runs short.
