I'M all in favour of bridging that gap. No, no not across the Ouse - the one between our councillors' ears.
Who is the unfortunate one living at the wrong side of the Ouse who does not like rubbing shoulders with the common herd walking over Ouse or Lendal Bridge?
If they have any spare cash, why not invest a few thousand in Saxo Salt; as they have already told us there will not be enough to salt paths, come the icy weather.
Failing that, how about a donation to the hospital to enable them to cope with unfortunate casualties of said icy paths.
