EASINGWOLD members Trevor and Sylvia Symonds won Driffield's EGGS Mixed Open with 43 stableford points, just edging home 22-21 on a last nine countback from Scarborough South Cliff's Ken and Ann Eley in a full field of 72 couples.
Terrific Tanner
STEVE Tanner became Toft Green Golf Society's Golfer of the Year with 132 points from four events in the society's five tournament programme.
He clinched the trophy in the 27-hole last event at Forest Pines, Scunthorpe.
