Pickering Royal Oak scored their first RJF Homes Beckett League victory of the season, winning 4-2 at Rosedale.

All Oak's goals in the first division clash were scored before the break by Damon Cox (2), John Reed and Terry Davison.

Rosedale reduced the deficit with John Tindal's second-half brace.

Aislaby United got off the mark with their first win, a 3-0 defeat of Duncombe Park, thanks to Kenny Temple (2) and Colin Tate.

In division two, Bagby and Balk are the new leaders after a 6-2 victory at Ampleforth.

Paul Fountain (2), Tom Kendall, Darren Bell, Rob Walker and Stuart Winter were Bagby and Balk's marksmen.

Ed Fawcett and Kevin Wright got the consolation goals for Ampleforth, who started the game with nine men, got up to ten, but finished with nine because of injuries.

Union Rovers won 3-0 at Ryedale Sports Club Reserves thanks to Peter Tiffany (2) and Mark Jeffels. Ryedale's goalkeeper, Steve Walker, was sent off.
