Loves Travelling can make his presence felt tomorrow as the famous Knavesmire racecourse opens its doors for the start of a three-day meeting which brings down the curtain on York's season.

Trained by Luca Cumani, my Nap selection Loves Travelling goes for the Constant Security Apprentice Handicap and will have the services of Nicky Mackay, who is one of the riding 'finds' of the season.

Mackay, who has won on almost 25 per cent of the mounts provided by his boss Cumani, was in the saddle when Loves Travelling stormed home to a three-and-a-half length success at Beverley last month.

That was the gelding's second win on the trot and confirmed him to be a progressive performer. A hat-trick looks on the cards tomorrow.

Cumani, who has enjoyed a fine year, highlighted by the exploits of superstar Falbrav, winner of York's International Stakes in August, can also score with Dileer in the Sesame and Scottish Equitable Classified Stakes. Darryll Holland takes the mount on the useful four-year-old.

The £15,000 Betfair.com Rated Handicap is the richest race on tomorrow's card and Mine should go well for Middleham trainer James Bethell.

The five-year-old went into the notebook at Ascot twelve days ago when he finished a highly creditable fourth to Master Bobbie in the valuable Tote Trifecta Handicap from a poor draw.

A very capable performer on his day, Mine deserves another chance tomorrow.

Also in the race is Celtic Mill, a winner at Catterick yesterday. Celtic Mill, trained at Scorton by David Barker and ridden by Lee Enstone, had nothing more than an exercise canter to see off his rivals in the Derbyshire Apprentice Classified Stakes.

The betfair.com Conditions Stakes has attracted a decent bunch of juveniles, including Golden Sahara, the mount of Frankie Dettori.

A winner on his debut, Golden Sahara was unlucky to bump into the high-class Kheleyf at Doncaster last time and went down by a length and a half.

That form has since been franked by the success of Millbag and Golden Sahara looks set to get back on the winning trail here.

The Green Howards Cup Nursery Handicap over a mile looks like being competitive.

I espect Go Solo to fare well for the Barry Hills' yard, which won the race last year with Avoidance.

Go Solo has won two of his last three starts and will be ridden by trainer's son Michael Hills.

The Old Gravel Pits Allerthorpe Claiming Stakes starts the action tomorrow, and it could be best to rely on the oldest jockey riding to provide you with a winning start to the day.

George Duffield, riding as well as ever at the age of 56, teams-up with his old pal Forbearing, previously trained by Sir Mark Prescott and now with Martin Pipe.

A winner over this course and distance earlier in the season, Forbearing can again do the busines for Duffield, who underlined his prowess in the saddle when getting Chivalry home by a short-head in last Saturday's Cambridgeshire Handicap.

Tomorrow's other meetings are at Huntingdon and Ludlow.
