AFTER leading 26-8 against visitors Embassy, New Earswick All Blacks Under-16s slipped to a 54-26 defeat.

All Blacks swept in five first half tries through winger Dean Smith (2), Jack Goodaker, Thomas Mackley and Jack Stearman. Danny Allen kicked three goals.

But Embassy, who have five players on Hull FC's books, piled on the pressure in the second half and All Blacks eventually cracked.

Thomas Hodgson was New Earswick's man of the match, followed closely by Jack French and Liam Gargan.

All Blacks Under-11s extended their winning run to three games with a 64-4 victory over Headingley Hawks. Tries for the All Blacks came from James Leaf (3), Liam Dawson (2), Jake Atkinson (2), Joe Davidson, Tom Barron, Dean Layton, Jake Mawer, Adam Johnson and Connor Thirlway.

A strong Castleford Panthers side beat All Blacks Under-10s 50-10. David Bellwood and Jacob Maddison touched down for All Blacks, whose Sean Malarkey

adding a conversion.

Sam Gell scored five tries for All Blacks Under-9s at Garforth Tigers. Tom Smith also got on the scoresheet. Scott Fernandez was the top tackler.

All Blacks Under-8 drew five tries each with Drighlington. Man of the match was Declan Calam, Liam Lowson was top tackler. Most improved certificates were given to Jonathan Marwood and Nathan Dodsworth

York Acorn ARL Under-13s put in a brave performance despite a 34-0 defeat to Westgate.

Acorn only had 11 fit players so it was always going to be tough, especially late on when Westgate scored most of their points. Man of the match was Daniel Whittaker.

Despite dominating for long periods, Acorn Under-12s lost 16-8 at Walton.

Try scorers for Acorn were Rob Dickson and Matty Winn. Tyler Dawson was man of the match and Mike Kellett the most improved player.

Despite five tries from Ryan Gallacher and one from Ryan Duffel, Acorn Under-10s went down 30-24 to Dewsbury Celtic. Acorn's Robert Leathan shone in both attack and defence.

Jack Anderson scored five tries as Acorn Under-9s beat Walton 46-10. Other touchdowns were scored by Oliver Hardwick, Tim Stubbs, Jordan Myers and Dominic Noone, who along with Tim Stubbs and Sean Kellett was the best performer in defence. Goals were kicked by Anderson (2), Kellett and Ryan Waters (2).

Harry Bromwich scored all four tries for a spirited Acorn Under-8s side as they lost 11 tries to four to Beeston Broncos. James Hardwick and Josh Potter and Henry Andrews also played well.

Acorn earlier drew 7-7 against Middleton, Nathan Wilkinson scoring Acorn's try.
