HARROGATE Town moved up to fourth place in the UniBond League premier division table after winning 2-0 at Whitby last night.
The Wetherby Road men are now level on points with third-placed Barrow and only four points behind league leaders Alfreton Town with a game in hand.
Ben Sherwood and Glenn Naylor both scored their first goals for Harrogate in last night's victory.
Former Scarborough midfielder Sherwood saw his deflected 25th-minute shot from the edge of the area find the top corner after coming on as an early substitute for the injured Richard Dunning.
Six minutes later, ex-Darlington and York City striker Naylor tapped into an inviting net after Whitby's goalkeeper had dropped a Colin Hunter free kick.
