I FOUND a most interesting point was made in the letter 'Ideal homes site' (September 25) from G A Nurse about affordable homes in the area.
Having three children who are struggling to find low-price homes themselves, I fully understand the situation and the growing need for this issue to be addressed.
Also having lived in the area, I think the new Osbaldwick village scheme would have been better built, albeit in the green belt, between the Osbaldwick Link Road towards the A64 bypass/Hull Road because this would cause a lot less traffic congestion to the Osbaldwick village area.
