Blazin' Squad have cancelled their Grand Opera House show in York for a second time.

First the South London posse postponed their Blazin' Hot Summer Party on August 29, citing recording commitments; now they have called off their autumn tour, including their November 16 date in York, blaming their "hectic schedule", poor lambs.

Most dates will be re-scheduled for early 2004 but not the York show. There will be no third time lucky for Blazin' Squad at the Grand Opera House. Instead, ticket holders should ring 0870 606 3595 or call in at the Grand Opera House box office for refunds.

Should anyone still be interested, Blazin' Squad's studio commitments have been extended and a "gruelling promotional campaign" has started for next month's release of new single Flip Reverse and their second album, Now Or Never. Apparently this has "made it difficult to prepare and rehearse for the tour".

The nearest show to York will be at Sheffield City Hall on March 20. Tickets for this new addition to the twice re-launched tour go on sale tomorrow at 9am on 0114 278 9789.
