FREE-SCORING Pocklington will be looking for more of the same when they entertain Wath in Yorkshire One on Saturday.

After 19 tries in their last two games, Pock will be looking to hand out more punishment to a side that is in the bottom three.

Last week's 62-13 demolition of Bramley followed the 66-5 hammering of Leeds Corinthinans and Pock are hoping to keep the good times rolling.

However, this week they will have to do without one of their teenage prodigies, centre Brad Bold. He is playing for Yorkshire Under-18s against Durham on Sunday, having scored a hat-trick against Gloucestershire a fortnight ago.

His absence is covered by Henry Mitchell, who is travelling down from Newcastle University to play.

Tim Nixon is back on the wing after unavailability and his return sees Rob Jackson switch to scrum half to deputise for Andy Kirby, who has a calf strain.

Pock have waved goodbye to former York College of Law skipper Andrew Wilson.

The prop, who has played for the Percy Road outfit for two years, has jetted off to Australia to start a one-year trip round the world. His place in the front row goes to Dave Birch.

York's visit to Bridlington brings together the two teams promoted from Yorkshire One last season.

Matches between the two are always hard-fought fought affairs with the most memorable being York's last win at Bridlington in 1994 which gave them promotion to North One.

York are hoping to build on last week's win over Redcar, while Brid will be hoping to get back on the winning trail after losing at Northern 25-13.

York will be without Gareth Dodgson, who is playing for Leeds Tykes 'A' and his place at prop goes to James Nuttal, a former Tykes Academy player.

York are hoping Rob Kama will pass a fitness test on a troublesome shoulder and make his first appearance of the season on the wing after his successful spell in rugby league with York City Knights.

Selby retain the same back division which was so successful last Saturday in the 36-0 defeat of Scarborough but changes in the forwards have been inevitable with the injuries sustained last week by prop Sam Longthorpe and No 8 Rob Taylor, the scorer of a hat-trick of tries against the Seasiders.

Paul Gabel replaces Longthorpe with Jamie Pocklington starting in place of Taylor. Dave Christison is unavailable so Richard Nicholson makes his first start in the first team at flanker.

Paul Randell, outstanding in last week's win, is on the bench along with stalwart prop Ian Copperwheat and David Batty who was unavailable last week.

Malton and Norton, second in Yorkshire Three, will be given a stern test at Keighley.

Both sides were promoted last season with Keighley being crowed champions despite being beaten twice by Malt.

The men from the Gannock will be hoping to continue their run over Keighley and will be strengthened by the return of Will Barber at full-back. Robin Tate drops to the replacements' bench.

Chris Robson comes in to the second row for the unavailable Tim Casey.
