I AM disgusted by York City chairman Steve Beck's decision to increase the already expensive matchday prices at Bootham Prices.

Is this man trying to drive supporters away? I think an increase of £1 per match is far too much.

I can understand the £1 increase for the three derby games but who would want to pay £13 to watch Torquay United.

I don't think this board have a clue about running a football club.

I feel they would be more suited to running a circus, as some of the decisions they have made since taking control in March really are baffling.

I think that Steve Beck should step down as chairman and offer the role to somebody who has experience of running a business or a football club as I think that is something what he lacks.

There is only so much money football supporters can afford to pay.

This is stabbing the same supporters in the back who have continuously donated money to save the club over the past two years.

It only cost me £13 to watch my team Hartlepool United and we are at the top end of Division two.

Sorry Steve Beck, I will not be paying your extortionate admission prices, I will be going to watch Hartlepool and I am sure many supporters will agree with my actions.

I only earn £3.50 per hour, not thousands per week like these footballers so I can't afford your silly prices.
