YORK City Knights have lined up a pre-season friendly against Super League giants Leeds Rhinos, the Evening Press can reveal.
The match, scheduled for Sunday, January 25th, a week before the Knights' National League season kicks off, is expected to bring a bumper crowd to Huntington Stadium.
The Rhinos are expected to bring a strong squad for the game, while the Knights are likely to field several of their closed season signings - including Dewsbury Rams half-back Jim Elston, who yesterday became the latest player to join the Knights' crusade.
