BRITISH rock'n'roll legends Joe Brown and Marty Wilde are teaming up for the first time on a joint headlining tour, aptly billed as Together.

On Thursday (25th), at the Grand Opera House in York, the two friends will perform individually and together, as well as with each other's bands: Brown's combo The Bruvvers and Wilde's backing band The Wild Cats.

Brown shot to fame with A Picture Of You, What A Crazy World, That's What Love Will Do and Sea Of Heartbreak and he is still in the spotlight, appearing at Glastonbury Festival, performing on Jools Holland's New Year Hootenanny and taking a starring role in George Harrison tribute concert film.

Wilde enjoyed a run of 12 Top 40 hits from 1958 to 1962, such as Endless Sleep, Donna, A Teenager In Love, Sea Of Love and Rubber Ball. He also has penned plenty of hits for himself and others, not least Lulu's I'm A Tiger, Status Quo's Ice In The Sun and daughter Kim Wilde's Kids In America.

Tickets for the 7.30pm show are on sale at £18.50 and £16.50 on 0870 606 3595.
