I WAS very disappointed to see the snippets in the Diary this week which repeats a tasteless joke about Tang Hall and its residents.
As an elected representative of Heworth Ward which contains part of the Tang Hall area, I must record my concern that a paper of your reputation should print such a joke.
In doing so, you are helping to perpetuate a totally inaccurate picture of the vast majority of people who live in this area.
In my experience, Tang Hall is a good place to live and the people I have worked with care as much about their local environment and the wider city as anyone else in York.
