A £1.4 million contract has been won by Thirsk-based integrated design build company Severfield-Reeve Projects.
The firm has won the contract to design and build a new warehouse and office facility at Thirsk Industrial Park for Zyro plc, which has its headquarters in Boroughbridge.
Zyro plc is one of the UK's leading cycle clothing and accessory distributors
The 30,000sq ft facility will provide more storage, office, training and showroom space for fast-growing Zyro, which has a £12 million turnover and supplies retailers throughout the UK.
Construction work on the new warehouse is due to start this spring and be completed by the end of the year.
Julie Ellison, Zyro plc's joint founder and managing director, said: "We are a rapidly expanding and very busy company which is recruiting staff to join our existing team.
"We are delighted to have chosen Severfield-Reeve Projects to design and build our new facility.
"We selected them because their integrated service means that they are responsible for the entire project and this allows us to get on with our business while they take care of all aspects of our development."
