TALKING of honouring unsung heroes, Steve Webster is to be made a freeman of York.
In his own sport he is the undisputed king. Steve has won no fewer than nine World Sidecar Championships.
However, that remarkable achievement had not been officially acknowledged in the city of his birth - until now.
The accolade is thoroughly deserved. We are delighted Steve will soon have the keys to the city alongside the keys to his motorbike.
