DOES anyone else agree with me that the statue to be erected in London to commemorate the work done by British women in the last war is hideous?
I was in the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) from 1940-1945 and my sister in the forestry side of the Land Army.
We look as though we had all been hung for treason, not done our best for the country. I wonder now if it was all worthwhile?
