THERE was a divine performance in the team event of the Yorkshire Professional Golfers' Association pro-am event hosted by The Oaks GC at its scenic Aughton Common course.
St John Meyers, who works for the Q8 oil company, led his Pride of Kuwait team - himself, Easingwold's Phil Young, Don Kinnersley (Roundhay) and Knaresborough professional Gary Vickers - to victory.
Vickers also won the individual prize with a five-under-par 67 ahead of Ganton's Gary Brown (68) with Richard Crawshaw (Wortley) and Nick Ludwell (Selby) third on 70.
