SO Michael Haslam has been cleared of raping a patient but has had four convictions for indecent assault upheld (Evening Press, May 20).
He will serve three years instead of the seven years imposed last December and should be released in the middle of next year.
Forgive my ignorance but three years from December 2003 is December 2006 not June 2005. Not only are our judiciary out of common sense they can't add up.
Let's have three years mean just that.
