THE Knights Evening Press-sponsored Player of the Month for May has now been decided and he will receive his award prior to the home game against London Skolars a week tomorrow.
The name of the winner will remain a secret until then - although our picture, left, provides a good clue as to who the winner is.
The lucky reader who won the opportunity to present the victorious player with his award is nine-year-old Abigail Olsen, of South Bank, York. All those who had voted for a man of the match in each game during May went into a hat and her name was the one pulled out.
Abigail was apparently delighted when she found out she had won not only two VIP tickets to the match but also the chance to meet the player - and she will be even more delighted to hear that, according to our sources, he is one of her favourite Knights.
