The Lord Mayor of York today offered his full support to the servicemen and women from the city who are out in the Gulf.
Coun David Horton said "I and the whole of the Civic Party would offer our support to the men and women who are out there, particularly those who are based in York and have families in the city. Our thoughts will be with them, and also with those on board HMS York."
