THERE have been 25 century breaks in the 28 matches played in the first three days of the Travis Perkins UK Snooker Championship at York's Barbican Centre.

The highest was Stuart Bingham's 143 in his first round win over Anthony Hamilton.

That is also the highest break of the whole championship so far, including last month's qualifying rounds, which means that he wins the £1,800 prize for the top break in stage one of the championship.

The player with most centuries so far is Paul Hunter, with three in his second round win over Stephen Maguire.

The prize for the highest break in stage two of the championship is £7,500. The second stage covers matches from the second round onwards. Joe Perry has made the highest break so far in stage two, with 136 in his second round win over Tony Drago.

The prize for a maximum break in stage two is £25,000.
