YORK Groves ARLC ended up with the wooden spoon when hosting their annual pre-season mini-tournament.
Four teams took part in the competition - Groves, Crigglestone, Wyke and Underbank Rangers - and the winners for the third year in a row were Crigglestone.
The event took place at Heworth's Elmpark Way ground and the Terriers would like to thank their neighbouring club for the loan of the facilities.
After-match refreshments were held at Groves' new base, the Black Bull pub on Hull Road.
