EASINGWOLD go into the final game of the season with an 11-point lead as they attempt to emulate their first team by winning division four.

Sheriff Hutton Bridge made 166-5 with Steve Clipston making 42 and Dave Ellis 40no as Easingwold's Alan Robinson took 3-59. The prolific Gary Sanders then hit 88 and, with Tom Langstaff making 40, Easingwold kept on course with a seven-wicket victory.

Londesbrough Park have moved into second place after recording the biggest victory in any division in the league this season when they trounced Pocklington by 209 runs.

Park racked up 235-5 with Simon Dodd making 58, Ian Hodgson 39 and John Williamson 30 before salt was rubbed into the wounds by Mark Tissiman, who made 60no and Paul Youngman who was unbeaten with 27.

Pocklington then capitulated to 26 all out in 9.5 overs. with 18-year-old Darren Moody taking 5-13 and Rob Wilkinson 4-6 as long-time leaders Selby dropped out of the promotion zone when they had to battle to save the game against Sheriff Hutton.

Ed Taylor made a resolute 70 in the face of Chris Dye's 3-35 to help Sheriff to 159-9. Ian Lake hit 53 as Selby held on at 135-7.

A maiden century for Philip Hall enabled Osbaldwick to move out of the relegation zone with a profitable draw against Huby.

Hall made 101no as he shared a third-wicket stand of 133 with Ed Baldwin, who made 54 in a total of 224-5. In Huby's reply Mike South made 59 and Paul Moore 56no but Peter Machin's 4-40 left Huby with a draw.
