FRANCIS Norton, who rode two seconds at yesterday's Evening Press Raceday at York, can set the record straight at Catterick tomorrow.

The jockey teams up with Oceanico Dot Com in the 'Sponsor A Race At Catterick' Nursery Handicap and can land the spoils.

Norton was in the saddle when the juvenile opened her winning account in pleasing style at Ripon last week.

Trained by Alan Berry, whose horses are in excellent form, Oceanico Dot Com had previously finished a good second to prolific winner Coleorton Dancer at Thirsk.

A second success looks on the cards for Norton's speedy mount tomorrow.

Can Can Flyer, my Nap selection, looks the one to be on in the goracing.co.uk Handicap over one and threequarter miles.

Mark Johnston's three-year-old has been confined to only two outings this season, which have produced a win at Beverley on his comeback and a narrow defeat on the same course in his follow-up attempt.

Stepping up in trip should suit Can Can Flyer tomorrow and he will receive every assistance from Royston Ffrench.

Ed Vaughan has done a superb job at Newmarket since being thrust into the trainer's hot-seat, following the tragic death this summer of his boss Alec Stewart.

Vaughan has found a good opportunity for Revenir in the 'Entertain In Style At Catterick' Maiden Stakes.

Neil Callan has the mount on the pacey three-year-old, who has finished runner-up in two of his three starts to date.

At Leicester, Talbot Avenue, who was far from disgraced in the Nunthorpe Stakes on Knavesmire last month, will have plenty of supporters in the manmatters.co.uk Conditions Stakes over five furlongs, especially as he is teamed-up with Kieren Fallon.

Trained in Cheshire by Mick Mullineaux, Talbot Avenue, a York winner a couple of seasons ago, finished a close-up eighth to Bahamian Pirate in the Nunthorpe on ground too soft for him.

He has been running well in defeat this summer and this £10,000 prize could well have his name on it.

Fallon, who was in the news last week largely for the wrong reasons, is determined to hang on to his championship crown despite a lot of pressure from Frankie Dettori and Seb Sanders.

The six-times champion looks to have some choice mounts at Leicester, not least from the Sir Michael Stoute stable, which is his principal supporter.

The promising Celtique represented Fallon and Sir Michael in the Filbert Maiden Fillies' Stakes and looks likely to oblige after an encouraging racecourse bow eleven days ago.

The jockey has further claims aboard Lorna Dune in the selling nursery. The latter is trained by Thirsk trainer Lynda Ramsden, for whom Fallon rode as first jockey before his switch to the south and his move into the big league about eight years ago.
