FURTHER to my letter of August 31, I think your edition of September 1 gives a very rosy impression (Library online archive loses funding).
It certainly was the intention at the beginning of the project to put 10,000 pictures online, but looking at the site I doubt whether there is half that number there at the present time.
The volunteers will be able to put captions to the pictures but not carry out the technical work of adding them to the site. Will staff be made available to do this?
