YORK City player-manager Chris Brass admits he has a selection poser in attack.

With player-coach Lee Nogan performing well in the 3-0 triumph at Dagenham & Redbridge and his replacement Paul Robinson having a hand in both of Darren Dunning's goals, Brass has a pleasant problem on his plate.

The City manager said: "Robbo's had an illness and he might struggle to get back in the side but he's certainly not sulked and he came on and set up two goals. He's given me enough to think about regarding bringing him back into the team."

Brass also believes the away-day victory can now be a turning-point in City's season after a start that had seen four defeats in the first five games.

He said: "Sides that come down a division often struggle in the first few games because there's often a lot of changes. We only had three regulars from last season playing against Dagenham but we are starting to gel.

"It was a very, very good disciplined performance. Every goal we have conceded this season has been because of individual errors except for last Tuesday night and we were tight at the back at Dagenham.

"Our midfield was also very solid and retained an awful lot of possession. We also probably created more chances than we have all season.

"We have had two good displays but we can't take our foot off the gas now. We have to keep it up after another long trip to Crawley."

City strikers Robinson and Lev Yalcin staked their claims for first-team starting places with goals in yesterday's 3-2 reserve defeat at Grimsby.
