I WISH to comment on the alteration to the No 13 bus service to Copmanthorpe.
This bus used to come down Flaxman Croft but, for some reason I can't fathom, First has taken it off the route and replaced it with a subsidised service, No 26, which to me is a waste of time because it only comes once an hour and goes all over.
It takes almost an hour to get into town whereas the No 13 still comes into the village every half hour and only takes 15 to 20 minutes to get into town, but does not come down on to the Flaxman estate anymore.
Most people on the estate who use the bus are going to be very angry about this because several are elderly and will struggle to cope with the uphill walk to a more frequent service provided by the existing No 13 or the Yorkshire Coastliner service.
