WE talk of a bad summer, but the Railway Institute Golden Rail Brass Band concluded its summer band concerts in a sunny Parliament Street and have only lost one day.
We got a bit of a soaking at Cawood, but otherwise it has been great weather - with a nice pint - at most places.
Our next fixture will be a 'proms concert' in the Institute Hall on October 2, and then it will be back to the Christmas hats.
