YORK City boss Chris Brass has no immediate plans to raid the loan market.
The current form of teenager David Stockdale has seen Brass decide against bringing another goalkeeper to the club on a temporary basis despite Paul Crichton's departure.
Brass made several unsuccessful loan signings last season and does not want to repeat that mistake this campaign, saying: "At this moment in time, the only position I might have been thinking about bringing in a loan player is in goal.
"I'm still monitoring that situation but I am happy at the moment because we have two young lads responding well and champing at the bit for opportunities. Loans are something we will be looking at if they become a necessity or if a good, young talented player becomes available and a move here would benefit us and him."
