HERE'S a quirky one for the wrinklies. A weird and wonderful collection of artists and Bee Gee songs.
Who will ever forget 4ft 11ins Hylda (She knows, y'know) Baker, right, belting out the dance anthem Stayin' Alive with squashed-faced Arthur Mullard? I almost had.
Here we have 23 different artists covering pop's most talented song-writing team with the likes of Adam Faith (Cowman Milk Your Cow), Status Quo (Spicks And Specks), Marmalade (Butterfly), P. P. Arnold (To Love Somebody) and Paul (Do Wah Diddy) Jones belting out And The Sun Will Shine to name but a few. Whatever happened to Tangerine Peel, Velvet Fogg and the mysterious Fut? Who cares? Each contributer brings their own dinstinctive style to the Bee Gees's songs but this is a time and space oddity. Bizarre.
