IT is time you brought to an end the boring and trivial correspondence about car parking fees.
As I write a shocking natural disaster is taking place in the form of Hurricane Frances on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
Even more horrific is the tragic event of deaths caused by terrorists in a Russian school.
Those people in York who have nothing worse to grumble about, feeling sorry for themselves that they have to pay parking fees when they go out to enjoy themselves for an evening, ought to stop and think.
They should try to see things in perspective, and then realise how they are blessed in having nothing more to upset them than the petty issue of having to pay to leave their vehicles in the town centre.
