BARRY Noble captured the latest Clifton Hotel Open Darts Knockout Championship with a stunning 5-1 victory over Bertie Bingham.
Noble's path to the final saw him defeat Gary Scott 3-0 with fine legs of 17, 18 and 19 darts, to set up a quarter-final tie with Paul Cooper. Noble included a brace of maximums as he closed out legs of 18, 20 and 18 for a 3-1 result.
In the semi-final (best of seven legs) Noble was up against Jon O'Mara who had earlier defeated Oli Hawkridge with excellent finishes of 114 for 18 followed by 116 for 15 to record a narrow 3-2 win. Noble took out O'Mara with a 4-1 scoreline which saw a 120 finish for 15 and games of 20, 17 and 20 darts.
Bingham's road to the final included a comfortable 3-0 win against Steve Wade, then a 3-2 win over Martyn Turner which saw a 180 for 17 darts from Bingham. In his semi-final, Bingham recorded a 4-3 victory against Ali Wray (21) in which he gamed on a 135 for 21.
In the 'best of 9 leg final' Noble's win included brilliant legs of 20 and 16 to wrap up the title.

Fastest leg: Paul Cooper with 14 darts. Highest Checkout: Bertie Bingham with 135. Lady Progressing the furthest: Sandra Bruce and Julie Botterill - reaching Qualifier Group Finals.
