I WOULD just like to say thank you to all directors, players and staff as well as all the supporters of York City Knights RLFC for a truly great season.
Two and a half years ago York RL was gone. The rugby league people of York could have become Castleford Tigers, Leeds Rhinos or Hull FC, but instead we became Knights.
We are proud to wear our shirts, proud to wear our hats, proud to carry our flags and proud to say: We are York.
