New Earswick won division three when beating Yapham by eight wickets, dashing the title hopes of Bolton Percy, who had the worst of a drawn game against Woodhouse Grange.
Mark Hewitson took 6-56 as Yapham were dismissed for 127. John Hetherton (36) and James Routledge (31) then laid the foundation for New Earswick's reply.
A below par Bolton Percy performance in the field saw Woodhouse Grange make 210-7. Howard Johnson ended an otherwise disappointing season by scoring 83.
Dave Randall followed his 3-26 for Bolton Percy by making his side's top score, 47. Bolton were 29 runs short of a title-clinching win when they closed on 182-6.
Acomb emerged from the late evening gloom with a six wicket victory at Clifton Alliance, who were all out for 191. Rob Littlewood (88) and John Renshaw (61 not out) led the way in Acomb's winning reply.
Bottom-placed Pickering gained an advantage draw over Wilberfoss, who were guided 106-7 by Geoff Room (45no) replying to 155-7.
Stillington skipper Kev Borwell helped his side to maximum batting points against Heworth by making 79 in a total of 202 all out. Trevor Walton took 5-46.
Matt Coulson's 5-46 had Heworth struggling at 114-8 when rain ended play.
