WHERE has society gone wrong ('No respect', September 11)?
It was sad to read that elderly widow Mary Speed was robbed in the street by a young girl.
I have looked many times in the bible for an answer to why the youth of today have gone astray.
Where are all the enterprising young people? There must be some out there.
When I left school, years ago, we were introduced to community work.
We met wonderful people and stayed friends with many of them.
In future I hope our young people come back and take part in society by helping others, as it used to be.
I may be looking through rose- coloured glasses, but I can hope.
