POPPLETON announced their intention to bounce straight back into Reserve 'B' with an emphatic 7-1 home win over Wilberfoss in Reserve 'C'.
Ross Haw scored for Pop along with his brother Joe, Steve Sax, Chris Sparks, Jamie Agnew and a couple from Andy Chalmers completed the scoring for the home side. Paul Jacques hit Foss' reply.
Rufforth recorded their third successive win as they beat White Horse 2-1 with goals from Danny Kieran and Jack Clayton. Les Hayles was on target for White Horse. Amotherby & Swinton won 3-1 at Riccall where Gary Roughley scored for the hosts.
Hamilton Panthers won 3-0 at Hemingbrough with second half goals from Brad Dunn (2) and Gagen.
Tockwith retained their unbeaten start to the season with a 4-1 home win over Heslington thanks to Phil Darley, Tom Clarke and Simon Lewis (2). Simon Partridge netted for Heslington.
