HARROGATE Railway's dull start to the season is all but a distant memory after Martin Haresign's men turned Goole over 3-1 last night.
Ryan Haigh, Andy Shuttleworth and Scott Ryan wiped out Graeme Whitehead's effort for the second placed team, who slipped down to third as a result.
The Rail win sends them rocketing up the table to sixth after a second away win in four days, having beaten leaders Shirebrook on Saturday.
A delighted Haresign said: "It's a good win for us - it's been a good week really because we have beaten the top two.
"We looked a lot better and played with a lot more pace."
Pickering Town had to settle for a draw last night at home to Sheffield.
Mark Swales scored twice in the 55th and 63rd minutes to open up a comfortable lead for the Pikes but Craig Marsh struck for the visitors with 15 minutes to go before Rob Ward equalised late on to make it 2-2.
