I SEE that Nigel Ingram states quite unequivocally that they intend to provide "up to 20 acres of 'green' areas at Derwenthorpe, including extensive tree planting, new footpaths and enhanced cycle ways".
Do I take it from this then, that the footpaths and cycleways are to be painted a lovely shade of green, in a diabolical attempt to deceive those of us who are interested in the natural environment that these paths are not part of the "built environment"?
"Green" means green foliage, Mr. Ingram, not grey stone, or black Tarmac.
