York City Knights you were magnificent against Workington.

To the players, Richard Agar, all the coaching staff, Roger Dixon, Steve Ferres and all management staff who have turned York around, many thanks from your heartfelt supporters for an absolutely fantastic season.

The city of York has a rugby team to be proud of.

Just one sour grape. It would have been nice if either Roger Dixon or Steve Ferres had said one or two words to Richard Agar on the pitch at the end of the match against Workington, acknowledging it was his last home match, to allow the supporters to show their recognition and thanks.

We accept this may have been done in the bar afterwards. But the bar only holds 200 and was already full to capacity before the match had ended.

Good luck to Richard Agar with Hull and we are sure he wishes York the same next season.

Nothing can take away the fact that after only two years York have made it to the Grand Final - a fantastic achievement.

Good luck on Sunday.
