ANYONE who has been to Bootham Crescent over the last few weeks, will have recognised that York City are in the ascendancy. The team is playing well.
The two main strikers, Andy Bishop and Paul Robinson are very exciting to watch and it is only a matter of time before they get a hat-full of goals.
Undoubtedly other clubs will be interested in buying the two strikers. In the past, the club sold its best players. The club may need money but the long term financial interest of the club will be best served by success on the pitch. The money generated by a promotion challenge will probably exceed any obtained by the sale of a player.
York City supporters deserve success and the Board must do all it can to deliver success. The club must not sell its best players. One season in the conference is enough.
