YORK RUFC Development Squad's U17 team made it three wins in three outings in the Yorkshire League with a 20-5 defeat of Bradford & Bingley at Clifton Park.

The home side got off to the best possible start after two minutes when centre Nathan Forrest outpaced the Bees defence to score wide out.

The Clifton Parkers stretched their lead through flanker Rob Domville, who burst blindside from a maul 20 metres out to cross the whitewash for an unconverted try.

Domville struck again when he capitalised on a strong forward drive from the York pack to give the hosts a 15-0 lead.

Flanker Matt Turp dived over for another unconverted try but York failed to press home their advantage after that and the Bees pulled back a score late on.

York saw out the game with some tactical kicking from Forrest and fly half Jonny Henley which kept the visitors in their own half.
