THE demise of leisure facilities at the Barbican Centre will be a sad loss.
I have been a member for six years and really enjoyed the close proximity to home.
There have been some excellent exercise-to-music classes and very good gym facilities.
It was a very cheap way of keeping fit and a huge loss to the community.
I will now have to drive to my new gym which rather defeats the object.
