THERE is no rest for deposed champion jockey Kieren Fallon, knocked off his top perch by Frankie Dettori when the Flat turf season drew to a close at Doncaster last Saturday.

He is only three winners short of his fifth double-century and has delayed taking a holiday in order to ride Sir Michael Stoute's last runners of 2004 on the all-weather surface.

Fallon has a full book of six rides at Wolverhampton tomorrow, a low-grade all-weather track 'twilight' meeting starting at 4.15pm.

It should be worth the effort for the six-times champion, whose mounts include prolific winner Heathyards Pride in the Bet Direct Classified Stakes.

Trained by Reg Hollinshead, the four-year-old has won his last three races, his latest victory being achieved over this course and distance, with Fallon in the saddle.

Although rising in the weights, Heathyards Pride is fancied to remain one step ahead of the handicapper.

Fallon will also be aboard Master Theo, who has strong claims in the Bet Direct On ITV Page 367 Classified Stakes.

Hugh Collingridge's charge finished second to Lord Links at Goodwood last time, failing by only a neck at the line. If he can transfer that turf form to the Polytrack, he will be difficult to beat.

Of Fallon's other mounts, Zarabad is of particular interest in the Littlewoods Bet Direct Maiden Stakes, not least because he is a well-bred newcomer trained by Sir Michael Stoute.

Treason Trial gets my Nap vote in the Bet Direct At The Races Handicap over one and threequarter miles.

A York winner last month, Treason Trial is proving a useful money-spinner for trainer Stef Liddiard, and he can defy a 5lb hike in the ratings on this return to an artificial surface.

At Ludlow's jumping meeting tomorrow make a note of Naunton Brook in the Sponsor At Ludlow Novices' Chase.

Trained by the in-form Nigel Twiston-Davies, this bold front-runner gained a convincing victory over fences at Worcester last month and looks the type of horse to run up a sequence. Carl Llewellyn again has the mount.

Nicky Henderson has not yet hit top gear this season, but the Lambourn trainer can take a step in the right direction, courtesy of Spread The Dream in the European Breeders' Fund Novices' Hurdle (Qualifier).

A creditable runner-up to Salsalino on his hurdling bow at Exeter three weeks ago, Spread The Dream is fancied to go one better here.

Also worthy of attention at Ludlow are Saafend Rocket (2.30), a previous course winner, and Wemyss Quest (3.00), who figures on a handy weight in the staying chase.

Tomorrow's tips:
